Officially, the first speedboat from Pak Bara to Koh Lipe departs at 11:30 am<\/strong>, while the last one leaves at 3:00 pm<\/strong>. In high season<\/strong>, the first trip is often at 10:00 am<\/strong>, and on some days the last speedboat departs at 4:00 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Daily flights depart from the capital to the south of Thailand. You can choose to fly direct flights to Trang or Hat Yai airport<\/strong>; from there we can arrange transfer to Pak Bara harbor<\/strong> by minibus or taxi<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    We recommend taking very early morning flights<\/strong> to reach Koh Lipe during the day<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Bus
    <\/strong><\/p>\n

    There are several buses heading towards the south; you can choose to get to Trang<\/strong> or Hat Yai<\/strong>, and from there continue by minibus to Pak Bara port<\/strong>. Another option is to take the bus to Satun<\/strong>, get off at La Ngu<\/strong> (30 km before Satun), and then take a local taxi for 25 baht<\/strong> which will bring you directly to Pak Bara port<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    We advise traveling by night bus<\/strong>, arriving at your destination in the morning and reaching Koh Lipe during the day<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Train<\/strong><\/p>\n

    From Hualampong train station in Bangkok<\/strong>, night trains depart every day<\/strong>. We recommend booking your ticket in advance with direction Trang<\/strong> or Hat Yai<\/strong>. Once you arrive at either destination, you must take a minibus to Pak Bara port<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    In high season<\/strong>, from Trang<\/strong>, you can go to Hat Yao port<\/strong>, where every day there is a ferry departing at 13:00<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    From the port of Hat Yao<\/strong>, just outside the city of Trang<\/strong>, during high season<\/strong> you can take the daily ferry departing at 13:00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    There are Phuket connections to Koh Lipe by sea<\/strong>, available only during the high season<\/strong>, which runs from late November to mid\u2011April<\/strong>. During this period, there are daily departures<\/strong> by speedboat<\/strong> and ferry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    From the islands of southern Thailand<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    To get to Koh Lipe from the smaller islands<\/strong>, you can use the speedboat and ferry departing from Phuket<\/strong>, as they dock along the trip at Phi Phi Islands<\/strong>, Koh Lanta<\/strong>, Koh Kradan<\/strong>, and other smaller islands.<\/span><\/p>\n

    From Phuket<\/strong>, you can also reach Pak Bara<\/strong> by taxi<\/strong> or private minivan<\/strong>. The taxi<\/strong> is the fastest option, but there are also daily buses<\/strong> departing from Phuket Town<\/strong> toward Trang<\/strong>, Satun<\/strong>, and Hat Yai<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
