Family Song Koh Lipe<\/strong> is a resort featuring fan\u2011cooled bungalows<\/strong> built in a traditional island style<\/strong>, with some units constructed entirely of wood<\/strong>. The bathrooms in the fan bungalows have open\u2011air sections<\/strong> to keep the bungalow cooler<\/strong> and avoid a fully enclosed structure.<\/span><\/p>\n

The air\u2011conditioned bungalows<\/strong> are more modern<\/strong>, built in 2026<\/strong>, with large and spacious rooms<\/strong> ideal for families or groups<\/strong>, designed in a more European style<\/strong>. Fan bungalows can accommodate up to 4 guests<\/strong>, while air\u2011conditioned rooms can host up to 5 guests<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Family Song<\/strong> is known for offering very affordable accommodation<\/strong> compared to Koh Lipe\u2019s usual prices and has always been one of the most budget\u2011friendly resorts<\/strong> with an excellent value for money<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The resort is located on Pattaya Beach<\/strong>, just 100 meters from the sea<\/strong>. Walking Street<\/strong> is only 5 minutes away<\/strong> by walking along the beach, Sunrise Beach<\/strong> is 15 minutes<\/strong>, and Sunset Beach<\/strong> is 10 minutes<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Family Song Koh Lipe<\/strong> was created through the collaboration between an Italian from Romagna<\/strong> and a Chao Leh family<\/strong> (the \u201csea gypsies\u201d), who are also the owners of the Family Restaurant<\/strong>. The Family Restaurant<\/strong> is one of the most well\u2011known restaurants on Koh Lipe<\/strong>, operating since the early 2000<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Family Song is very active in supporting stray dogs and stray cats in Koh Lipe.<\/strong> We are part of a group of volunteers<\/strong> that every day provides food for several stray pet communities from our area up to Sunset Beach.<\/span><\/p>\n

My Story: How I Arrived in Koh Lipe and Why I Never Left<\/h2>\n

I first arrived on Koh Lipe in January 2008<\/strong>, thinking I would stay just a few days. Instead, from the moment I stepped on the island, I felt something different<\/strong>, something I had never experienced anywhere else.<\/span><\/p>\n

Koh Lipe welcomed me with its crystal-clear sea<\/strong>, its white sand<\/strong>, and above all with the Chao Leh<\/strong>, the sea gypsies. Their smiles, their simplicity, their way of living made me feel at home instantly. I connected with them in a way that is still hard to explain today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Back then, Koh Lipe was a small paradise: a handful of wooden bungalows<\/strong>, a few restaurants, and a life that flowed slowly and peacefully. I stayed only one week, but when I left, I already knew one thing: I would come back.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And I did.<\/span><\/p>\n

Season after season, I returned. I spent my days with the Chao Leh family, went fishing<\/strong>, helped at the Family Restaurant<\/strong>, sold snorkeling and fishing trips<\/strong> to Italian visitors, and slowly became part of their everyday life. They welcomed me, taught me, trusted me. At some point, they practically adopted me<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

From that bond, in 2013<\/strong>, Family Song<\/strong> was born. On a small piece of land behind the restaurant, we built our first 10 bungalows<\/strong>. Then 5 more<\/strong>, then 6 rooms<\/strong>, and later another 5 bungalows<\/strong>. We never wanted to become a big resort \u2014 our goal has always been to preserve the spirit of the old Koh Lipe<\/strong>. A simple place, built with heart, respect, and family.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2022<\/strong>, we took another step and opened Family Song Tours & Travels<\/strong>, continuing what I started more than fifteen years ago: taking people out to sea with the Chao Leh, exploring the islands, fishing, snorkeling, and sharing the beauty of this archipelago with those who visit us.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Koh Lipe didn\u2019t just give me a job and a home. In 2021<\/strong>, it gave me my daughter Giulia<\/strong> \u2014 the greatest gift of my life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Looking back, I could never have imagined that a simple trip in 2008 would lead me here: a life on the other side of the world, a family, a business built from almost nothing, and a bond with an island that has become part of who I am.<\/span><\/p>\n

People often ask me if I would make the same choice again. My answer is yes. Absolutely yes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It hasn\u2019t always been easy. There have been challenges, changes, difficult moments. But when I look at everything that has happened, I feel proud<\/strong>. I know I have built something meaningful \u2014 not big in size, but big in value, in memories, in life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Koh Lipe didn\u2019t just become a place I returned to. It became home<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cristiano Sala<\/strong>, the owner of Family Song Koh Lipe<\/strong>, is well known for being a strong man with a very good heart<\/strong>. He is always ready to support beings in need<\/strong>, both humans and pets. Besides this \u2014 and not less important \u2014 he is always committed to supporting youth and sport in his hometown<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Understanding the importance of sport discipline in the education of the young generation<\/strong>, he contributes by sponsoring the local football team Sala Cesenatico<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
